Our fun and energetic classes are a fast-paced introduction to Rugby where the child will learn about shapes, colours, numbers and counting, they will be encouraged to work independently as well as enjoying team games. Finding space, looking after the ball, scoring tries, running with the ball in two hands and general agility and balance are just some of the things the children will learn during their time with us.  All the equipment used in these classes has been specifically designed and selected for young children. We use sponge foam balls so the children can catch, pass and kick their goals with confidence. Its colourful, it's lively and it's guaranteed to brighten up anyone’s day. Dear Parents/ Carers Clothing As part of the nursery day we have to offer the children a full range of experiences, inside and out. The children will therefore be able to access the garden in all weathers. Please can you ensure your child has a change of clothes with them every day, a waterproof jacket and wellies as you never know what the Scottish weather will bring! We do have a small stock of waterproof trousers and a couple of pairs of wellies, but if you could provide your child with their own, that would be great. Also, if you have any old wellies or waterproof trousers you no longer use and would like to donate them to the nursery this would be very much appreciated. We would also welcome socks, trousers, pants and shoes as our stock is running low. If your child has borrowed clothes please return them as soon as you can. Buggies Please could I ask that you leave buggies in the nursery garden when coming in to collect your child. It has become increasingly congested and difficult for parents/ carers to get their child organised to leave nursery. Security   When arriving or leaving the nursery (out with drop off or collection times) could you please make sure the door is properly shut and secure as well as the nursery gate. Collecting Children When collecting your child, please could you go over to the coloured area rather than allowing them to run over to you in the cloakroom. This is to ensure that all children are collected by the correct person. Once you have collected your child, please ensure they post their name in the grey basket on your way out.
  • red group- at the back of the nursery on the right hand side,

  • Orange group and green group- left hand side of the nursery in front of the smart board.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation The Nursery Team

With term now being back in full swing we’re hearing concerns that parents are driving really fast along Waverley Road and Park Road at drop off and pick up times. It’s a 20mph speed limit and there are concerns that  parents drive far too fast along both of the roads. As there are young children living in these streets, we are asking parents to slow down to 20mph from the start of the roads. The concern has also been mentioned to the local police.
