King's Park Primary School

A busy week for P6A

This week was Parents’ Evening. In preparation for it, we wrote our own reports. This encouraged us to reflect on what we have enjoyed this year, our strengths and our next steps for learning.

On Wednesday morning, we had the opportunity to explore what quality education looks like with Mrs Limerick. We really enjoyed thinking about what makes a good learner, teacher and classroom. It also meant that we were able to write a report about Miss McCloskey (who loved reading all our feedback).

In writing we created a mystery paragraph with suspense, tension and atmosphere. This made us think about how we could incorporate: ‘WOW’ words, dialogue, movement and body language which showed the feelings of our characters feelings.

Our focus in numeracy was dividing decimals. This helped us to developed a deeper understanding of place value!

We hope you have a lovely weekend!
