Our news in P6A

This week in P6A we have been researching the Bass Rock to enter a writing competition open to the whole of Scotland. The winner will be visited by STV news and receive a free school trip to famous Bass Rock!!

We also planned our Christmas party in groups and then pitched our ideas to the rest of the class. It was difficult to plan for everything we wanted and stick to our budget…

In P.E. this week we have been learning new skills in hockey.  Developing our stance, grip and push pass.

To get into the festive spirit a little bit more we decorated our classroom and had a vote on our top 10 favourite Christmas songs to listen to whilst we eat.

Hope you have a great weekend.

After researching mythical creatures, we created a functional report about a mythical creature of our choice. This made us think hard how about which literacy devices we could use to engage our readers. In P.E. we played rounders with Miss McCloskey. With Mrs Campbell we ran various sprints as trials for Sports Day and for [...]
