P4a Have Had A Very Busy Term

P4a have enjoyed learning many new skills and team games at swimming lessons at Lasswade High School Centre. Thank you Mrs Tait and all parents for accompanying us.

We had a busy time learning about Dalkeith for our Community Topic. We made models in groups of an amenity for children in Dalkeith and enjoyed sharing our models and learning wall with parents at the Open Day. We gave presentations of our models to the class and asked many questions. Look at our great designs and team work below!

In literacy we have been busy with novel studies, made scary masks for our imaginative writing and have been learning skills in drama. We have been getting many certificates for our writing.

We have been using our maths skills in our Community topic and Enterprise and have been learning more French.

We have worked hard planning and organising our Christmas Enterprise which included our Sing-along performance to parents and our Christmas party. We had a great Christmas lunch. Thank you dinner hall staff.

We look forward to our new term. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from 4a!
