King's Park Primary School

P2A

P2A have been very busy over the last few weeks.

The class really enjoyed Literacy week and the book fair!  Lots of fun was had when we had to drop everything and read (D.E.A.R)!  The class shared their favourite stories and wrote book reports.

As we come close to finishing our topic on the Circus the class have been busy making model Circuses out of junk modelling materials.  They have worked very well together in small groups making stick puppet Circus characters and model big tops.  The class will perform puppet shows to each other next week!

For St Andrews Day we found Scotland on the map.  Listened to the story of St Andrew on the Smartboard.  We looked at Tartan and also the Saltire.  Then we created Thistle pictures using coloured paper!

Finally as Christmas approaches the class are looking forward to their nativity performances next week and have put up our class Christmas tree!  Each pupil hung a bauble on, and are enjoying our picture and French interactive advent calendars!
