King's Park Primary School

This week in P1A

This week in P1A we were very lucky to get a visit from Helen during their STEAM (sceince, technology, engineering and maths) session. The children were able to practise skills such as measuring, estimating and weighing in a variety of fun activities and contexts. They gained an insight into the way that STEAM subjects can help with people’s lives and careers and they learned more about engineers, civil engineers, mechanics and people involved in the building trade. They had a lot of fun!

We have included some pictures to share with you from our fun morning!

“We learned about making sure that buildings are straight.”

“We learned about meters.”

“We learned how to build strong walls.”
