This week in P1A

Welcome back!

This week we have been learning the story of “The Little Red Hen”. We used actions and picture plans to help us remember what happened in the story and we really enjoyed doing this! We tried hard to then write this story independently in our books and we have included some examples of our great work below for you to have a look at.

The P5s have also been using this story to help them in their writing so they came along to see us in P1A and shared their own stories with us too! This was a lot of fun and we really enjoyed collaborating with them. We might even arrange to share some of our own stories with them next time!

We are going to use this style of planning and writing to help us create our own imaginative stories next week.
