P1A- 29.09.17

This week in P1A…

“We have been learning some new sounds like d, m and r”

“We liked singing the songs about each sound”

“We have been learning how to write these sounds correctly”

“We liked drawing pictures about a time that we were excited, we included lots of detail to help us with our writing”

We have included some of our wonderful examples below for you to have a look at.

Some of us really enjoyed doing some writing of our own about these drawings. We are working very hard to use our sounds to help us write.

In maths this week we have been working on finishing some patterns of our own.

Also, we all really enjoyed creating our own autumn leaves using fine liner pens and black finger paints to create patterns. We worked very hard to have good control of our hands and fingers.

This week we have been looking at combine harvesters and exploring how they can help us with the harvest.
