King's Park Primary School

Our Learning in P1B

In Primary one this week we have been focussing on subitising during our numeracy lessons.  The children’s recall is really improving.  Well done Primary one. In Maths the children have been working with money and are looking at different ways to make different values.
We have been continuing with our key words this week and have really enjoyed the new reading book.
Our writing was an imaginative story which followed on nicely from last weeks story about Easter. The children have been trying really hard to use their finger spaces, capital letter and full stops.
We have been looking at what makes us Unique and enjoying exploring similarities and differences.
PE has been lots of fun this week and last.  We have been working with P1 A and C to practice for our sports day.  The children have been working collaboratively and putting in loads of effort.  Fantastic work.
