King’s Park Early Years

Children’s Learning

We have enjoyed another great learning week in King’s Park early years. Although the weather has been pretty awful all week this has not stopped the children being outside and making the most of the great puddles. As the children are split inside they are also split in the garden but the cooperation from both sides with each other has been phenomenal. Working as teams to send the puddle across to each other from one side of the garden to the other, using brooms and brushes and learning what way the water will flow depending where your push it.

There have been some seeds sewn in the garden so were excited to see what happens with those!

Inside we have been cutting out and adding our photographs to the family tree and we have a few now. If you have not yet emailed your family photo in please send to the school who will forward to us. The more leaves the merrier! We have enjoyed hearing all about family members, pets and where we live.

We have welcomed new children this week, who have been amazing! They have happily left parents to come into the building and been so brave and no tears! You are superstars! The returning children have enjoyed getting to know the new children and have happily shared and shown great kindness to the new children. Well done King’s Park

There has been great deal of creativity with many interesting gluing using lots of different textures and shapes.

The children from both sides of the room have been practising  their scissor cutting skills and are making great steps with this.

Everyone is enjoying following our new routine line that maps out the day for everyone.

Children are taking great responsibility and taking care of their environment, using careful hands and being super helpers during tidy up time.

Also we would like to say a massive thank you to Vogri for making us an amazing hand washing station. we love it thank you so so much!
