Thanks to everyone who dressed up as their favourite book character and handed in donations on World Book Day. We raised over £170! This money will be spent on books for the school library. The library monitors have been making a list of possible purchases, taking ideas from the comments box in the library and from class suggestions. They have decided, where possible, to buy good quality second hand books; this will mean we are being eco friendly by reusing books which have already been read, and we will also get more for our money. Once again, a huge thanks to everyone who supported World Book Day!
