King's Park Primary School

p4b

This week we went on our class trip to the Mining museum.  We learned more about how they kept the roof from caving in on the miners, what the life of a miner was like, how coal mining started and the dangers of working in a mine.  We also used our knowledge of miners for our writing this week.  We wrote a diary entry for our mining character.

In P.E we’ve been practising athletics to get ready for sports day.

In Art we were creating images of trees using a technique called pointillism, where you build up an image using tiny dots.
