Last week we had a visit from Tom who is an ex miner. He told us fascinating stories about what it was like for him working down the coal mine.
With Mrs Key we painted an image of the British Isles on a stone and next we’re going to draw the silhouette of a miner.
We’ve been reading our class novel and practising the skill of asking and answering different types of questions.
In maths we’ve been discussing the properties of irregular and regular shapes.
