In P.E this week we have been developing our skills in dodgeball. We played a game called ‘Gauntet’. To play the class had to split up into two teams; one team had to run through a channel filled with obstacles while the other team were trying to throw dodgeballs at them from either side. It was really fun! In P.E with Mrs Campbell, we continued to learn about central net games and played a volleyball match.
As our part of our topic on Europe, we created leaflets about various countries in the EU. We used our research and knowledge of persuasive techniques to do this! This was a good way to use all our previous learning.
We have also officially completed our imaginative stories and submitted them to BBC Radio 2’s 500 word competition. Editing took a long time, as you are only allowed a maximum of 500 words and we didn’t want to take out any of the best bits! To make our stories even better, we made front covers for them to give us try and impress the judges.
