P2A have been busy revising their knowledge and learning more about shapes. The class participated in a shape hunt around the playground and were able to see that shapes are all around us! The class were able to share their findings collaboratively afterwards, and recorded any missed shapes on their sheets by helping each other!
The class also welcomed French Student Bruno today. He will be working with the class to share his knowledge of France and will teach many aspects of the French language! Today he told us a little about himself and his Country! He will then start with French greetings after the October break.
With this week being Midlothian Science week the class are learning more about the Senses. Today we had a visit from Mr Craig Selbie, an Optician (and parent from P1B). He told us all about the Senses and focused on the eye and sight. He gave a very interesting presentation and answered all our questions! Then at the end gave us all a goody bag! Thank you Mr Selbie!
