P2c have started Active Schools Football. We are learning new skills and games over the next few weeks. It was great exercise and great fun working together in teams.
In maths we have been looking at quarters of different shapes and doing number sequences and designing fraction flags on the smart board. We have been learning about measure and weighing different objects using scales. In ICT we were learning how to log on and off and playing games. In writing we discussed then wrote great descriptions about ‘My Snowy Day’. We wrote about our warm winter clothes and about building a snowman, an igloo, a snow castle, a snow angel and sledging with our families and friends. We wrote about ‘My Dinosaur’ describing what they looked like using super adjectives and what they did when they came to visit our school! We had very busy dinosaurs in our class! Look at some of our Starwriter stories. We have been trying very hard with our handwriting. Finally, we made something very special for Sunday. We look forward to showing our families all our hard work on parent’s evening.
