P2A continue as Successful Learners in the run up to the end of term.
The class enjoyed Health and Wellbeing week recently where they participated in Sports Day, fruit tasting, Upbeat dance, Yoga and meditation techniques.
They also kept the playground litter free with their week of litter picking. Each day after the pick they counted the different types of litter collected (natural materials, paper, plastic and food waste). Due to the volume of waste they collected they decided to be responsible citizens and remind others when out during break times to remember to bin any litter! Well done P2A!
The class have also been enjoying their current topic of Houses and Homes and have taken part in numerous activities including looking at houses and homes in Britain, Japan and Kenya. Building houses using for example lego and blocks. They also made Kenyan mud huts from clay and designed their own dream homes, whilst learning what an architect does. The class are now preparing to present their own research on a house of their choice.
As we fast approach the end of term the class are very much looking forward to Kings Park’s Got Talent. Good luck to our class entry!
