This week in P1A we really enjoyed watching the Primary 6 and Primary 7 children perform Beauty and the Beast. It was a great performance and all of our class sat beautifully throughout the show. It was great to see all of the hard work that went into this from actors and narrators to the backstage crew and artists who made the props. The children hope that they will take part in something like this when they move up the school!
This week we began to look further into our new interdisciplinary learning topic of ‘The Body’. We are very lucky to have Mrs Key for a while on a Wednesday morning and she is going to use her time with the class to do some learning about this with the children. This week they began making a lovely display for our classroom. The children drew around one another and everyone had a job, from drawing or making labels for each part of the body – the children worked collaboratively and we are hoping to get these lovely displays finished next session.
*unfortunatly there seems to be a technical difficulty in uploading the pictures from this lesson, I will upload these to the website or twitter page soon!
