This week has been another busy week in nursery. We would like to thank everyone who managed to come to the open day it was lovely to see so many parents attending. The children really love to share their learning with parents and it was a super day
.
Lots of outdoor play and learning. There has been lots of discussions about what we will be planting in the garden and many thanks to everyone who have donated plants, seeds, Astroturf and pots it is really shaping up to being a great little garden for the children.
There has been much construction going on both in the garden and indoors. We have noticed bees and insects collecting nectar and pollen from the flowers and this has sparked a real interest in the nursery with the children. We have used various provocations for the children’s learning this week and it has been really interesting to observe where the children take their learning to the next level
We have welcomed Mrs Morgan to the nursery and this week she has spent time getting to know the children and their routines.
We also have some wonderful news – Mrs Ferguson has had her baby, a little boy. We are all so delighted for her and her family and sure you will join us in sending love and best wishes to them all.
Forest Schools sessions will commence again next week and this will be the morning children attending.
