We are so excited to tell you that we were awarded Mr. Fudge for our behaviour in huddle this week.
We discussed what made handwriting ‘good’:
-being on the line
-using the little stories to help us e.g. ‘a’ – around the apple and draw the leaves.
-using the guide lines in our handwriting jotters to help us.
We then self-assessed our work to decide which word met this success criteria best and explained our reasoning for this with our learning partner.
We used the story of Elmer to learn colours in French.
We’ve been learning about how to keep ourselves safe. So far we’ve looked at two contexts: getting lost in the shop and keeping safe in the house.
If you were lost in the shop you would:
-“find a person who works in the shop” – Aiza
“need to know your address and phone number.” – Harry
We were a bit disappointed that Sports Day was cancelled due to the weather. Hopefully the sun will be out for us next week!
