Forest Kindergarten
Monday: Red Group + 3 children from Orange Group
Tuesday: Green Group + 3 children from Orange Group
Wednesday (pm): Blue Group + 3 children from Orange Group
Thursday: Yellow Group + 3 children from Orange Group
Friday (am): Blue Group + 3 children from Orange Group
As nursery will be closed on Friday this week we will try to make sure the children in the blue Friday group have the opportunity to attend forest Kindergarten through the week.
Please make sure your child has their outdoor clothing for forest schools every day they attend nursery as there may be opportunity for additional visits to the woodland for your child, dependent on numbers.
We also offer outside education to the children in all weathers at the nursery.
Clothing for outdoor learning:
Warm socks
Wellington Boots
Wet suit (if they have their own)
Hat
Warm waterproof coat (old one if possible)
Spare Clothing
It’s important for the children to have a full change of clothes with them each day as they do have messy experiences during nursery play…
The Borrowing Library (located in the parent’s room)
Please feel free to have a look at drop off and pick up times and borrow some books.
Toys from home
Could we please ask that you do not allow your child to bring toys in from home as they are getting lost or broken or mistakenly taken by other children.
Lost Property
We have a lot of items that are not named and unclaimed in bags in the parent’s room. Please ask a member of staff for more information.
Buggies
Please could you leave buggies outside at pick up time as it gets very congested in the clock room? Please speak to a member of staff if you have any questions.
Parent helpers
If you would like to come and help in the nursery please add you name to the calendar available on the information board.
Many thanks for your continued support and please speak to a member of staff if you have any questions.
