King's Park Primary School

This week in P5b

This weeks update was written by Beth, Hannah, Rhona, Euan and Zayaan

This week in P5b we have had Parents Night. After we had moved our trays outside to display our fantastic work so far, our parents arrived at school. Most of us got great reports!

This week we have travelled even further into Space and discovered the 9th planet of the solar system! We had to create a poster to inform our audience about the name of the planet, what the planet looks like, is there any life on this planet and what exists on its surface!

We then blasted back into Earth’s atmosphere and completed a homophones challenge to match the correct spelling to the picture in our literacy jotter. Homophones are words that are spelled differently but sound the same out loud, for example bare and bear!

Hope you had a lovely meeting with Mr Cross at Parents Night and found out a little about what we are learning. We all plan to take a two minute silence this Remembrance Day to remember our soldiers. Have a safe weekend.
