This week in P5b we are really excited to tell you how we have been getting on with our Easter assembly. We have been doing lots of practice by learning the songs, reciting our lines and rehearsing our acting. The 27th March is when we are going to perform our assembly to everyone who can come. We hope you can all attend!
We also have had Parents Night this week. Primary 5 all wrote letters to explain to our mums and dads what progress we have been making with our learning this year and what our targets are to continue to improve! Mr Cross really enjoyed getting the opportunity to speak to parents about how well the children have been doing. We loved reading the letters you left in our trays. We hope you enjoyed visiting our classroom and Mr Cross and that you liked looking at all the hard work we have been doing.
On Monday we welcomed a visitor from Hillend Snowsports Centre called Mary and both P5 classes joined together to listen to Mary explain how skiing will work. This included a health and safety chat and a description of what to wear. This includes:
Mary also explained that we shouldn’t wear hair gel that day and for girls please put your hair in a low ponytail!
Next week we are going to start making props for our assembly. This includes using old cardboard boxes, newspapers etc to make palm leaves and signs and Jesus’ cross. Enjoy your weekend!
