13.10.17 P1A

This week in P1A…

“We have enjoyed practising our new sounds and building words with these.”

“We worked hard on our writing this week. We drew pictures about a time when we felt surprised.”

“We had lots of fun working with Mrs Tait, we got to do our activity outside and even got to travel in different ways over the bumps in the back playground and travel along the climbing wall.”

“It was hard but fun, we had to think about which hand or foot we would move so that we didn’t fall.”

On Friday morning we were very lucky to have a visit from Midlothian Drama Company who shared with us a piece of interactive drama based on the story of  ‘The Elves and the Shoe Maker’.

“We liked when we had to pretend to be the elves.”

“We liked pretending that we were the forest and moving like trees.”

“We liked trying on the shoes!”

Two of our learners took a lovely photo of the drama production! IMG_0119
