P7’s Trip to the Scottish Parliament

On Monday 5th November, P7 took a trip into Edinburgh.  In the morning we explored the National Museum of Scotland and in the afternoon we visited the Scottish Parliament.  The Education Officer told us lots of information about the history of the parliament and was very impressed with our knowledge of the subject.  We then enjoyed going on the tour of the parliament.  We particularly liked seeing the impressive debating chamber.  Our session ended with a Q&A with our constituency MSP, Colin Beattie.  We were very lucky to get to meet him as MSPs do not normally work in the parliament on Mondays.  It was a fun and educational day out!
