P6A News

In writing we have been developing our persuasive techniques by creating a sales pitch for our enterprise ideas! We really enjoyed using  rhetorical questions and emotive language. On Wednesday we will give a presentation, using these ideas, to ‘The Dragons’.

Our focus in numeracy this week has been mixed numbers and improper fractions. To do this we had to use our knowledge of the times tables. For example to convert 9/4 to 2 and 1/4 we need to know our 4 times tables! We also completed an assessment to judge how far our learning has come and see what gaps we need to fill before the end of the term.

In P.E., we have been doing circuit training. This involved rotating around stations such as shuttle runs, leg raises, star jumps and sit ups for intervals of 1 minute. Afterwards we were all exhausted! Next we will be taking part in our sports day relays and would delighted if you could join us at 10:00am on Monday.

Hope you have a fantastic weekend in the Sun!
