A Busy week for P6A

This week in Science we have been investigating how we breathe. We created a model of the respiratory system – identifying the organs involved and the process of inhalation and exhalation. Next we want to find out what the purpose of breathing is!

To end our topic of ‘Living and Growing’ we have been developing our understanding of mental and emotional wellbeing. To help with this we watched the animated film ‘Inside Out’ and considered the value of each emotion; looking at “negative” emotions from an alternative point of view and how to cope with them.

We have been thinking about equivalent fractions, percentages and decimals. The Spicy and Hot group have been finding percentages of a quantity. The cool group have converting decimals up to two decimal points to percentages.

We had our first dress rehearsal of Beauty and the Beast. Everything is really coming together and we cannot wait for you all to see it next week!

Hope you have a great weekend!
