P5b and Easter

Dear Parents and Carers

This week we have continued practicing for our Easter Assembly. We made our Easter props including palm leaves, posters and trying on our costumes. The palm leaves are to wave to welcome Jesus into Jerusalem as are the posters. Our dress rehearsal went well and we look forward to welcoming you on Tuesday!

We also had an exciting start to Wednesday morning as our classroom has been rearranged into rows. This has many benefits to our learning including improving our listening skills, our ability to concentrate better and to help us work more effectively with our talk partner. Most of us are enjoying the new layout and looking forward to observing the benefits to our learning.

On Tuesday we completed an enormous 50 word spelling test. At the start of the year Mr Cross gave us a similar test and this one will demonstrate how we have improved throughout the year. Mr Cross will give us our scores on Monday!

We hope to see you at our Easter assembly on Tuesday and our fantastic choir at the church on Thursday. Enjoy your weekend.
