P4 Embrace Literacy and Language Week!

IMG_2494

Primary 4 have had a great week celebrating Literacy and Languages week in School.  We came fully prepared with our personal books for Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R) and took the opportunity to read when we heard the bell.

We also had a great visit to Dalkeith Library.  The Librarians read us part of ‘The Giggler’ by Roddy Doyle.  We also chose our own book at the library.

We also began creating our own picture books that we hope to publish and share with the younger pupils in School.  Finally, the week ended with us dressing up as our favourite characters and taking part in a class Mannequin Challenge with our characters reading!

A busy, but most enjoyable week!
