P3’s Class Trip!

On Wednesday P3 had their class trip to Craigmillar Castle. We visited lots of places, including the courtyard, the games room, the bakery, the prison, the great hall and the cellars! We also climbed up the steep spiral staircase and stood on the top floor. We could spot Edinburgh Castle, Hollyrood Palace and Arthur’s Seat!

On the way round the castle we had to answer a quiz by looking out for important castle features. We learned about what a real castle looked like, what defence it had, who owned the castle and what was inside the castle. The trip was interesting, and really fun!
