P3C’s Trip to Craigmillar Castle

Primary 3C had a great day at Craigmillar Castle – we found it interesting to explore the different rooms and to see what a real castle looked like.  After touring the castle, we played games such as hoopla and skittles and made a crown or did some colouring.  It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed sitting in the castle garden to have our lunch.  In the afternoon we designed a coat of arms with a partner, drew a sketch of the castle and played circle time games.
