King's Park Primary School

P3b starts their new topic!

This week we began our new topic… Famous Scots! Our first famous Scot was Greyfriars Bobby. We learned all about his life and his loyalty to his owner. We then thought about who we were loyal to and wrote down how we show our loyalty to them. We will display these on the wall along with our brilliant textured paintings of the statue! We mixed lots of shades of grey and painted in small strokes to make it look like fur.IMG_0327[1] IMG_0330[1] IMG_0329[1] IMG_0328[1]

Learning in P3C

P3C have been learning about the features of a castle and how they changed over time.  We worked in our home teams to identify the features on pictures of  Scottish Castles.  After that we tried to guess the order in which they were built.
