King's Park Primary School

Spring has arrived in 2c!

2c pupils have enjoyed outdoor activities including our daily mile and using the climbing wall, bumps and tig. We enjoyed looking for signs of spring in our playground and noticed spring crocuses and leaf buds on trees and were lucky to see birds carrying twigs to make nests in the trees and bird boxes. We have noticed the days are getting longer and brighter. We are looking forward to our new topic Lifecycles after the Easter holiday.

We wrote letters to Nessie the Loch Ness monster and to our mystery dinosaur asking many interesting questions. We are greatly looking forward to our museum visit to find out more dinosaur facts at the museum workshop after the holiday.

We had a visit from the Polar Explorer and Professor ECO who taught us many interesting facts through fun activities.

We have enjoyed spring and Easter craft, spelling, stories, songs and drama and construction activities in our class and have learned some Easter words in French. We learned about the Easter story in class and at church.
Happy Easter! Joyeuses Paques!
