King's Park Primary School

P2C Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths

As part of Midlothian science week, and our topic of ‘The Circus’, we have been looking at how animals were used as part of the circus in the olden days.

We read the story ‘If I ran the Zoo’ by Dr. Seuss and tried to make our own cages so that the animals could not run away. We used straws, glue, blu-tack and cardboard to try and make a cage that was un-escapable.

let’s just hope that the cages are strong enough to last over the holidays!
