P2A Literacy and Languages Week Activities!

This week P2A have enjoyed lots of activities for Literacy and Languages week!

We have taken part in D.E.A.R (Drop Everything And Read).  We kept our reading books close at all times and even took them to P.E. just incase the D.E.A.R bell rang!

We enjoyed visiting the Book Fair and looked through the great selection of books!  We had the opportunity to purchase the books too!

We had a visit from Macastory where stories were made fun with lots of actions and songs.

We also started making our Circus puppets for our Circus puppet shows.  We worked in groups to decide on which Circus characters we would make, making sure each group member made a different character.  We used a variety of different materials to decorate our puppets.  We will then develop our puppetry skills over the next few weeks and make A Circus theatre. 001 002 003 004 005 006 007 008 009 010 011 012 013 014

We also started toothbrushing after lunch.  We enjoyed listening to the brush bus song and making sure we brushed our teeth correctly.

A very busy and enjoyable week!
