P2A have fun learning about Dinosaurs!

P2A have over the past few weeks been enjoying a variety of activities to help them learn more about their topic of Dinosaurs!

They enjoyed working with P2C to create some still life line drawings of a variety of dinosaurs.  They also used Dinosaur stencils to draw Dinosaur shadows to mount onto colourful painted backgrounds!

P2A visited the National Museum of Scotland on Wednesday 22nd February.  They participated in a Dinosaur Discovery Workshop where they received various clues to piece together.  All groups were able to identify their Dinosaur!  Well done P2A! The class then enjoyed an afternoon of exploring the museum.  The tree play area and dressing up were amongst the favourite things the class explored!

The class then wrote some fantastic reports of their time at the museum which some can be viewed in class.001 002 003 004 005 006 007 008 016 019 023 033 036 038 039 Finally we had a Google session where we explored habitats and the land of Dinosaurs!
