Learning in P2A

Over the past few weeks P2A have been creating Dinosaurs using a variety of materials (play doh, stickle bricks and lego).  We continue to build up our factfiles full of interesting information about a variety of Dinosaurs.  We used these when thinking of the size of the Dinosaurs.

We continue to work on our Common Words and are using the character of Elmer to help us!  Each week we test some common words and colour the ones we spell correctly, leaving those blank that we need to work on.  This way we can clearly see the ones to work on as a class.

We have also started a block of football with coaches who have come in to teach us the skills of the game.  We are working on controlling the ball, moving in different directions and working together as a team.

This week we are learning the special friend (or), and our dictation skills have been fantastic!
