King's Park Primary School

P1C

“We taught our nursery buddy about school uniform. We made a boy or girl wearing the uniform out of tissue paper.” – Ava

“We drew posters to help us with our sounds.” – Jessica

“We did our King’s Park Got Talent auditions.” – Findlay

“We were learning the abc song” (The real names for the sounds we know) – Eli.

A lot of us knew the song but found it difficult to say the correct name of the letter when shown randomly. We could practise this at home:

“What is the correct name for the letter *a*?”

“What comes after f in the alphabet?”

“We were skipping with Mrs. Tait and learning how to get our hearts beating faster.” – Harry

We learned how to re-tell the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears a few weeks ago. Some of us made links with this story whilst playing to create ‘sand porridge’ for Goldilocks.
