King's Park Primary School

P1C

P1C have been loving the sunny weather! We teamed up with P1A and P1B to complete different P.E stations, practising balancing, travelling and ball skills, as well as working as part of a team.

We were introduced to Tough Tina- another Super Learner! Tough Tina never gives up, even when she finds things very tricky.

We’re continuing to practise grouping and sharing, and using our knowledge of this to help us solve word problems.

Sharing – “There are 6 children and we need 2 teams. How many children will be in each team?”

Grouping – “Gordon has 12 footballs. He can  fit 4 footballs in 1 bag. How many bags would he need for all the footballs?”

We even wanted to challenge ourselves so we asked for ‘bigger numbers’ to work with.

We explored oil pastels and paints to create beautiful Spring pictures! We’re looking forward to sharing these next week with you when they are dry!
