P1A have thoroughly enjoyed being buddies to the new nursery children. They have all been very responsible and have been trying hard to set a good example. They have given their buddies a tour of the school and even helped them complete tasks in order to prepare the nursery children for their time in P1 here at Kings Park.
When our class were not paired with a nursery child they also were very lucky to be invited to attend an event organised by the P5s as part of their enterprise project this week. We all had a great time with the P5s and many of us even won some prizes!
This week we have also been learning about how to keep ourselves healthy. We have been creating our own healthy meal plans and using the NHS ‘Healthy Food Plate’ to help us understand what is included in a healthy balanced. We also learned about how meditation and breathing can help us to keep a healthy mind and feel relaxed. We also really enjoyed doing some fitness circuits in the playground.
We are looking forward to our last very busy week in P1A!
