This week we were lucky to have the STEAM ambassador in to teach us about construction. We got to become builders, architects, civil engineers and surveyors. We used fantastic materials to help us measure, build and estimate.
Within numeracy we focussed on number sentences and the missing number this week. We looked at money in maths and matched the prices of items to the coins we would use.
During literacy we focussed on our double consonant sounds. We used the Old MacDonald song to learn about our vowels and consonants.
We had fun writing our own version of the Three Little Pigs. We drew a story map to use as our writing stimulus.
