In maths this week we looked at symmetry and could say if a picture was symmetrical or not. With the help of ‘The Smurfs’ clip we have been able to start learning about time. We have enjoyed singing our time and money songs to help us learn.
In numeracy we were looking at subtraction and trying to see if we could read the number sentence by ourselves.
We learnt how to play lots of fun games in PE this week. We got really tired. In basic moves we were sequencing our moves and trying to say out loud what we were doing as we were doing it.
In STEAM we were looking at construction and seeing how things work. We had lots of fun with Miss Gallagher. We have been looking at our classroom commands in French and have been answering our register using simple phrases.
We were looking at our fry’s words and seeing if we could spell them on the smart board.
We have been reading at our new reading book and seeing if we could identify true and false statements.
Within writing we were using our Roald Dahl story tiles to help write fantastic imaginative stories. We used our learning superheroes to help us concentrate and practice sounding out trickier words.
