King's Park Primary School

Our learning in P1B

It has been so lovely having all the children back in class after the Christmas break.

Last week we wrote some amazing stories about the Little Red Hen and revised all our sounds. They did extremely well. Within numeracy we went over our last lesson and started our maths topic on money. The children have been enjoying playing in the toy shop.

This week the children wrote wonderful stories about Mr Wiggle and Mr Waggle. They retold the stories using actions and shared their favourite parts with their class mates.

They focused on double sounds this week and we started our handwriting. They love their new books.

We looked at subtraction within numbers to ten/twenty and continued with our money topic.
