This Week in Nursery: 5^TH-9^TH June’17

We are off to Dalkeith Country Park on Thursday 15^th June, please refer to previous letter re details. We’re looking forward to having lots of fun and are looking for as many adult helpers as possible. Please speak to staff if you are available to help out. Thank you

Changes within the nursery

We are delighted with the new layout in nursery and hope you enjoy the more spacious, open plan environment. The change gives the children more space to play and explore their environment freely. We are starting our ‘soft start’ time at the beginning of each session to promote nurture and transition from home to nursery. The key worker will now be in the group area for 20 minutes from the start of the session to spend time and interact with the children and parents as they arrive. Children are free to go and play at any time during this time.

Sun cream

As the weather is warming up please remember to apply sun cream to your child prior to their session, we do not do this within nursery. Due to an allergy within nursery please do not apply sun cream with coconut in it.

MOPS

MOPS is now finished, thanks to everyone who took part, we had a great time!

Transition

It is week 2 of our transition program, please chat to nursery staff if you’re unsure what happens during this time or if you do not want your child to take part.
