This Week in Nursery: 6-10^th March’17

Please could you make sure your children’s clothes, jackets etc. are named clearly and suitable for all weathers.

Spring

We are delighted to see the sun shining and will be going for a walk round the park this week looking for signs of spring! Open day

The nursery open day is on Tuesday 14^th March’17, 10.25am/ 2.20pm. This will be an informal time to see your child within the nursery and chat to staff.

Achievement tree

We now have our achievement tree up and running. Thank you to all who have handed in a leaf, this is a great home/school link to have.

Absences

If your child is unwell and not attending nursery please could you let us know. Contact the main school office on 0131 271 4610 or direct to the nursery on 0131 271 4611. Please see information board for reported illnesses.

Parent helpers

If you have any spare time we would be delighted to welcome you to nursery to assist in any area, please add your name to the calendar on the information wall and have a look at the list of activities.

Resources

We are using lots of natural resources in nursery, if you have any extra material, bags, hats, shells, stones, household items such as baking trays, spoons etc. it would be a great help.

Boxes etc.

We are looking to build up our stock of boxes, plastic bottles etc. for gluing and painting; please bring any items you think would be handy for this. Unfortunately we can’t accept toilet rolls and egg boxes.
