Language and Literacy Week (Focus Scots)
As part of this week the Nursery are launching ‘The Borrowing Library’ which enables children to borrow books from the Nursery to read at home. (See letter)
Thursday 30th November is St Andrews Day and to link in with Language and Literacy week the children have the opportunity to dress up in something Scottish and show off all the Scottish words they know.
Travelling Book Fair
Children are able to buy books from the fair on Thursday 30th November, 11:30am-12:00noon and 2:50pm-3:20pm.
Wellies
We are looking to build up a stock of wellies for the nursery and if you have any old wellies you would be willing to donate to the nursery it would be very much appreciated.
Hamper books
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Scottish themed hamper. There are lots of great items and good luck to all for winning one.
Christmas fair
The children have been busy making items for the nursery stall at the Christmas fair so please come along and have a look. There will be lots on offer.
Christmas performance
We have now started practicing our Christmas song for our performance at the end of term.
