Before the holidays we were very lucky to have a visit from the Easter bunny here at Kings Park. The Easter bunny left us a surprise in the playground which we had to go and find, it was so much fun.
The children have been busy settling back into nursery life this week and they have enjoyed playing with their friends and making new friends with the children that have just joined us at Kings Park. There has been lots of talk about what they have been doing over the Easter Holidays such as doing an Easter hunt and collecting eggs, eating chocolate and visiting places such as butterfly world.
With some children going to the forest each session, it has created calmer atmosphere in the nursery and is encouraging the children to use skills from different location, in new situations. With the calmer atmosphere, the children are more engaged with what they are doing thus expending their own learning.
Opposites have been something of interest this week along with building spaceship in the Lego. The children have shown an interest in minibeasts and zoo animal which is being taking forward next week.
It is so nice the warmer weather has come to visit us and the children have started planting in the garden and it is looking brighter as our daffodils that were planted last year are in full bloom.
