Nursery Life-

The Nursery has been very this week with lots of learning going on as always.

There has been lots of water exploration, finding out how water travels downwards and having fun with it.

The children have been making their own fire in the den toasting marshmallows, making chocolate bananas and even cooking tomato soup. Yum. They knew that they had to be safe around the fire.

There has been a lot of perseverance with balancing as some of the children found this tricky, but kept going until they reached the end of the block line or walked over the logs. They use some strategies to help them such as putting the arms out to help with their balance or going a little slower.  There was a great sense of achievement when they had accomplished it.
