King's Park Primary School

Children’s Learning this week

There has been a very busy buzz around nursery this week. The children are getting very excited for Christmas. This week in the mark making area there has been lots of letters written to the north Pole.

The children have enjoyed the art area using glitter and some have made amazing paintings of Christmas trees that you can see displayed around the nursery.

Much construction has taken place from Rockets to the moon to Santa’s sleigh. The children are using the loose parts and smaller bricks to add to their constructions in the big bricks and making some amazing creations.

In the snack area the children have loved making their own tomato soup for snack and it was delicious!

We have also been very busy making Gingerbread play dough to sell at the Christmas fair today and groups of children have enjoyed helping out being shopkeepers and selling the play dough.

The children are working very hard practicing their songs for their Christmas performance and are looking forward to singing for parents.

Our Sign – a – Long Little Donkey seems to be a popular choice.

Keep practicing !
