A group of children had a trip to the shops to buy items for our Scotland display. We had Haggis Neeps and Tatties for snack on Burns Day ( Haggis Day as they named it!)They enjoyed dressing up in tartan clothing.

The children have taken a keen interest in IT and have been using the classroom smart board to select music and make choices together. The new dance area we have has been a huge hit with the children, allowing them to express themselves in so many ways from dancing ,singing, using puppets and performing on the stage.

There has been a great interest in numbers and early writing skills. Children have been using magnetic numbers for both recognition and sequencing. We have also been keen to write our names and the younger children have been using their name cards in the writing area.

The children have begun some early gardening tasks in preparation for spring coming (we hope soon).
